The history of any place is a process of change, not all of it desireable. This page contains some of the places we're sorry are no longer part of Yellow Springs.

Sometimes the building remains, but the business does not. To the left are two views from the early Dick & Toms restaurant, now home to Sunrise Cafe. Click on each picture tol see a larger version.

To the left is a vanished view of a familiar landmark (click here for a larger version). Taken about 1900, the location is the current Little Art Theater, but the occasion is a mystery. If you can shed some light, please notify info@yshistory.org.
